Marking Out the Memorial Garden

On Tuesday seven members of the group headed over to Kingsdown for the first stage of creating our very own memorial garden. Alongside Martin from Swindon Borough Council and Danny from the Crematorium we measured out the area of the garden and plotted out the eye-outline for the hedging. Danny will complete the marking out and once we are all satisfied it will be dug out for the hedging, ready for planting in January.

We've got some serious fundraising to do in order to raise the money needed to complete the garden, and would be delighted to hear from anyone who might be able to provide practical help, such as builders, gardeners, suppliers and anyone who just wants to get stuck in!

It's a lovely spot and it will be wonderful to have our own garden next year as a place to remember our little ones.
